So you're ready for your first event - awesome!

To help your very first voter registration table go off without a hitch, we've compiled a kit of resources you might like to use.

The Basics

At a bare minimum, you'll need:

Clipboards & pens
- - buy these at a local office supply store
Voter registration forms (as well as vote by mail applications, if we're close to an election)
- - these are different for every election authority, so you have to get them yourself (download and print here), or from the ILVOTE leader in your County.
Something to identify your volunteers - The t-shirts are great for this; you can also wear plain white t-shirts with a couple buttons on them

Attract Attention

To make people notice your table, you'll want some signage. The ones in this picture are on wire frames that stick in the grass. You might also consider posters to hang on the wall behind you, or simply sheets of paper that you can tape to your table.

Information: Rectangular, laminated sign. These are to be used in photos of all the voters you register.

"Register to Vote" signs

Our Cost: $20 per sign; $4 per mounting accessory (wire yard sign frame or plastic tabletop holder)
Information: These 18x24" signs can be set on a tabletop, used as yard signs or hung from the wall. All you have to do is swap out the plastic tabletop stand for a metal yard frame - both of which we can provide to you, each at additional cost.
